Grupotec and REG Power Developments (REG) are working together to roll out green energy projects across the UK. Both companies have an established and successful track record in renewables development both in the UK and abroad.

Founded in 1997, Grupotec is a global renewable energy developer operating in 16 countries and has built over 60 solar farms across the UK. Since 2005, the team at REG Power Developments (formerly AIM-listed REG) has been dedicated to developing new renewable energy projects to help in the shift to a zero carbon future. To date, the company has developed over 1GW of wind, solar and bioenergy projects in the UK, with over 40 projects built and in operation today.

Solar Park

The development partners have submitted a planning application for a new solar park at Benridge. The proposal, if consented and constructed, will increase the UK’s energy security and help provide for the country’s growing electricity requirements.
